Document of Compliance, which certifies that the |
'Shuttle tanker "Bergina" loading at Statfjord, North
Sea.' |

Company's Safety Management System is audited and complies with the
requirements of the International Management Code for the Safe Operation of
Ships and for Pollution Prevention (ISM Code). During 1999 the Company moved on
and went for the ISO 9002 certification by DNV as well, which was obtained in
September 1999. In 2001 the Safety Management System was certified for
compliance with ISO 9001.
As a general policy, vessels managed by Bergshav Management are assigned to a
24-hour emergency response service with their respective classification society
for rapid assistance regarding stability calculations in an emergency situation
caused by collision, grounding, fire, explosion, etc.
In addition, Bergshav Management has its own Emergency Contingency
Organisation, i.e. an Owner's Emergency Response Team, working 24 hours, 365
days a year, consisting of members from the operational/technical staff. |
